Through his establishment in 1996 of the Foundation bearing his name, Lyle M. Gelvin provided a significant source of monetary support for a broad range of non-profit causes and undertakings which he so enthusiastically encouraged and aided during his own lifetime.

The Gelvin Foundation provides grants in support of charitable, educational, scientific and religious purposes. Mr. Gelvin's commitment, as expressed through the ongoing conduct of the Foundation, which he created, will make possible notable contributions to the quality of life for citizens of Tulsa and surrounding areas.

By policy, the Foundation limits its grants to non-profit organizations within the State of Oklahoma.
